Home remedies delay scorpion sting care, study finds

NCT ID NCT07408947

Summary

This study looked back at the medical records of over 3,000 people treated for scorpion stings in a Mexican emergency room. Researchers wanted to understand if using home remedies first, waiting to get care, or different doses of antivenom affected how sick people became and how well they recovered. The goal is to use this information to improve future treatment decisions and help people get the right care faster.
