Vibration therapy tested to straighten teen spines

NCT ID NCT07285551

Summary

This study tested whether a specific 5-day physiotherapy program, sometimes combined with whole-body vibration, could improve spinal alignment in girls with adolescent idiopathic scoliosis. Fifty participants underwent intensive daily therapy focused on posture correction and muscle activation. Researchers measured changes in spinal curvature, trunk rotation, and body symmetry to see if the treatments helped control the condition.
