Scientists scan Teens' backs to see how scoliosis exercises work
NCT ID NCT05961228
Summary
This study aimed to understand how back muscles work during specific scoliosis exercises. Researchers examined 25 adolescents with mild to moderate scoliosis while they performed exercises with and without spinal corrections using the Schroth method. Using ultrasound imaging, they measured muscle thickness to see if the corrections changed how muscles activated during different positions.
