First seen Jan 07, 2026 · Last updated May 04, 2026 · Updated 16 times
Summary
This study looked at whether combining two types of exercise training can help teenagers with mild scoliosis (a curved spine). 189 teens aged 13-18 took part. They were split into three groups: one did one type of exercise, another did a different type, and the third did both. They trained three times a week for 12 weeks. The goal was to see if the combined exercises improved posture, balance, and back muscle endurance better than either exercise alone.
