First seen Apr 06, 2026 · Last updated Jun 12, 2026 · Updated 11 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding dynamic neuromuscular stabilization breathing exercises to standard Schroth exercises helps teens with scoliosis. 26 participants aged 10-18 with mild to moderate curves were enrolled. Researchers measured spine curvature, breathing strength, pain, and quality of life. The goal was to see if the combined approach improves symptoms and function better than Schroth alone.
