Teens' Self-Image under the curve: scoliosis study seeks connection

NCT ID NCT07166328

Summary

This study aims to understand how the physical curvature of the spine in adolescent idiopathic scoliosis relates to a young person's perception of their own body image. Researchers will measure back asymmetry in 40 teens, aged 11 to 18, who have moderate scoliosis. They will then compare these physical measurements with how the teens feel about their appearance using a special questionnaire.
