First seen Feb 03, 2026 · Last updated May 01, 2026 · Updated 8 times
Summary
This study looks at 300 adults with mitral valve prolapse to find ways to predict heart muscle scarring and dangerous heart rhythms. Researchers will use heart scans, echocardiograms, and 24-hour heart monitors to build a scoring model. The goal is to better identify patients at risk, but this is an observational study and does not test a new treatment.
