NCT ID NCT07428083

First seen Feb 23, 2026 · Last updated May 13, 2026 · Updated 10 times

Summary

This study looks at whether adding Kinesio Taping to Schroth therapy helps reduce back pain and improve daily function in young adults (ages 18-30) with mild idiopathic scoliosis. Participants will be split into three groups: one gets Schroth therapy plus real Kinesio Taping, one gets Schroth therapy alone, and one gets Schroth therapy with a sham (fake) tape. The treatment lasts 4 weeks, and researchers will measure pain and disability at several points to see if the taping provides extra benefit.
