Summary
This study tested a summer program designed to help young children with behavioral and learning problems prepare for kindergarten. Researchers worked with 124 children in Miami who had attention, behavior, or learning difficulties to see if the program improved their school readiness skills. They measured children's behavior, academic skills, and self-control before, during, and after the program to see what worked.
