New school program fights youth vaping epidemic before it starts
NCT ID NCT07162155
Summary
This study is testing a new school program designed to prevent children from starting to vape or misuse prescription drugs. About 3,000 students, ages 7 to 11, will either receive the new program—which mixes weekly classroom lessons with online learning—or continue with their usual health classes. Researchers will check if the program changes kids' knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors regarding these substances over a year.
