Can a 'High Five!' at school help kids stay healthy?

NCT ID NCT07357857

Summary

This study tested a school program called 'High Five!' designed to prevent children from becoming overweight or developing high blood pressure. Researchers worked with over 650 children aged 7-9 to see if fun, interactive lessons about healthy eating, exercise, sleep, and screen time could lead to healthier habits and better body measurements. They compared children who went through the program to those who followed their school's usual routine to see if the program made a difference.
