Tribal schools partner to fight childhood obesity with culture and curriculum
NCT ID NCT06864468
Summary
This study is testing a school-based program designed to prevent obesity in 4th graders at rural tribal schools. Researchers will compare students at two schools using a new health curriculum focused on nutrition and physical activity to students at two other schools not using it. The goal is to see if the culturally relevant program helps kids develop healthier habits and prevents weight gain.
