Summary

This study is testing whether school-based mindfulness and compassion programs can help children improve their attention, emotional regulation, and overall well-being. Researchers are enrolling 500 elementary school students to participate in classroom activities focused on mindfulness and social-emotional learning. The study measures changes in children's focus, self-esteem, emotional stability, and social skills before and after the programs.
