Schools test ways to sustain student mental health support
NCT ID NCT04869657
Summary
This study tested two different approaches to help under-resourced urban public schools keep their mental health support programs running effectively over time. It involved 12 schools over three years, focusing on programs for students in grades 4-8 who showed signs of behavioral or emotional difficulties. The research compared how well schools maintained these programs, their costs, and whether students' mental health and classroom engagement improved.
