Summary
This study tested whether a school-based program called Youth Aware of Mental Health (YAM) is practical and acceptable for 9th graders in Denmark. The program uses discussions, role-playing, and posters to teach students about mental health, coping skills, and suicide prevention. Researchers wanted to see if the program could increase mental health awareness and potentially reduce suicidal thoughts and behaviors among teens.
