Summary
This study tested a program to improve health knowledge among schoolgirls and their community in Bangladesh. School nurses taught 8th-grade girls about health for three months, then certified them as 'Health Champions' to share what they learned with adults in their community. Researchers measured changes in health knowledge, confidence, and behaviors in both the students and community members.
