Can School-Day fasting windows fight childhood obesity?
NCT ID NCT07184281
Summary
This study is testing whether a simple 'time-restricted eating' schedule at school can help prevent and control obesity in children. About 1,380 fourth-grade students will either follow a 12-hour daily eating window along with regular health lessons, or just receive the regular lessons alone for one school year. Researchers will compare changes in the children's weight, body measurements, and obesity rates to see if the timed eating approach makes a difference.
