NCT ID NCT06711926
First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 23, 2026 · Updated 15 times
Summary
This study looked at how three different drinks—semi-skimmed milk, milk permeate, and water—affect hydration, thinking, and mood in healthy 9-11 year olds. Thirteen children took part in three morning sessions, each testing one drink. Researchers measured urine output, blood and breath samples, and used computer tests and brain scans to check cognition. The goal was to find which drink keeps kids best hydrated and whether that helps them learn and feel better.
