Can a school dietitian help kids eat better?

NCT ID NCT07168928

Summary

This study tested whether having a dietitian teach nutrition classes in a primary school could improve children's knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors about healthy eating. 67 fourth-grade students in Turkey were split into two groups: one received an 8-week nutrition program, while the other continued with normal school activities. Researchers measured the kids' nutrition knowledge, eating habits, and body measurements to see if the program made a difference.
