Can a school dietitian stop childhood obesity?
NCT ID NCT07168928
Summary
This study tested whether having a dietitian teach nutrition classes in a primary school could improve children's eating knowledge, attitudes, and behaviors. Sixty-seven 4th-grade students in Turkey were split into two groups: one received an 8-week nutrition education program, while the other continued with normal school activities. Researchers measured the children's nutrition knowledge, eating habits, physical activity, and body measurements to see if the program made a difference.
