Summary
This study tested a new medicine called CPL500036 in 189 people with schizophrenia who were having a sudden worsening of symptoms. The goal was to see if the drug could reduce symptoms like hallucinations or delusions over 28 days compared to a placebo. Researchers measured changes using a standard symptom scale.
