Can talking therapy boost hope for schizophrenia patients?

NCT ID NCT07365982

Summary

This study tested whether a special program of educational and motivational talks could help people with schizophrenia better understand their condition and feel more hopeful. 44 participants were split into two groups: one received the new talk sessions, while the other continued with their usual mental health services. The researchers measured changes in the participants' knowledge about schizophrenia and their levels of hope.
