Summary

This study tested whether a medication called ITI-007 could help control symptoms in people experiencing a schizophrenia flare-up. Researchers compared the drug against a placebo in 450 adults with schizophrenia over 28 days. They measured changes in symptoms like hallucinations, delusions, and emotional withdrawal to see if the medication was effective.
