Summary
This study aimed to find the most accurate and reliable tests for detecting a parasitic worm infection called urogenital schistosomiasis. Researchers in Tanzania tested several diagnostic methods on 801 school children. The goal is to identify the best tools to help health programs confirm when the disease has been eliminated from an area and to monitor for its return.
