Wearable sensors reveal Heart's secret dance during workouts
NCT ID NCT06952673
First seen May 02, 2026 · Last updated May 12, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study uses special wearable sensors to record both the mechanical vibrations (seismocardiography) and electrical activity (electrocardiography) of the heart in healthy adults. Participants will walk or run on a treadmill at increasing speeds while their heart signals are measured. The goal is to understand how these two types of heart signals change together during exercise, which could help improve future heart monitoring technology.
