Simulation training boosts Long-Term life support skills in nursing students
NCT ID NCT07366125
First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026
Summary
This study looked at whether practicing with realistic scenarios helps nursing students remember how to perform basic life support. Fifty students were split into two groups: one practiced on a manikin using standard methods, the other used scenario-based simulations. While both groups learned the same amount initially, the simulation group kept their skills longer, showing better retention after one month. The findings suggest that adding simulation to training can help future nurses stay prepared for emergencies.
