Summary
This study looks at whether a team-based care program for pregnant women with sickle cell disease can reduce deaths in a non-academic hospital in Ghana. About 198 women aged 18-45 with confirmed sickle cell disease and a pregnancy of 34 weeks or less will take part. The program uses a care plan adapted from an academic hospital to improve outcomes.
