New injection tested to smooth unsightly facial scars

Summary

This study is testing whether a drug called 5-fluorouracil, injected directly into raised scars, can help reduce their size and improve their appearance. It is for adults over 18 who have raised scars around their eyes from an injury or cosmetic surgery. Participants will receive four weekly injections, and doctors will track changes in the scar's size, color, and texture.
