New gel tested to smooth and fade scars

Summary
This study is testing a gel to see if it can prevent thick, raised scars and improve how scars look. About 80 adults with recent scars will use the gel for 90 days and compare it to another product. Researchers will check if it helps with scar appearance, hydration, itching, and color.
