Summary
This study compared two different hands-on physical therapy techniques for people with long-term pain and stiffness between the shoulder blade and ribs. Researchers tested which method—Muscle Energy Technique or Modified Active Release Technique—was better at reducing pain, improving chest expansion, and helping with daily activities. The trial involved 46 adults who had experienced this specific pain for at least three months.
