First seen Jan 11, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 21 times

Summary

This study looked at whether adding shoulder blade (scapular) strengthening exercises to usual physical therapy could reduce pain and improve grip strength in people with long-term tennis elbow. Thirty adults with chronic lateral epicondylitis took part. Half received standard therapy alone, the other half added scapular exercises. Researchers measured pain, grip strength, and daily function to see if the extra exercises made a difference.
