First seen Jan 10, 2026 · Last updated Jun 16, 2026 · Updated 24 times

Summary

This study compared two surgical techniques for a wrist bone (scaphoid) that failed to heal after a fracture. Thirty adults received either a newer arthroscopic (keyhole) graft or the traditional open surgery. Researchers measured how well the bone healed, how long it took, and wrist function afterward to see which method works better.
