First seen May 06, 2026 · Last updated May 08, 2026 · Updated 1 time
Summary
This study checked if the ScanWatch's pulse oximeter accurately measures blood oxygen during dangerously low oxygen levels. Fourteen healthy adults had their oxygen briefly lowered in a controlled setting, and the watch's readings were compared to standard blood tests. The goal was to see how well the device performs under extreme conditions.
