Cold cap showdown: which method best saves hair during chemo?

NCT ID NCT06011525

Summary

This study compares two scalp cooling techniques to prevent hair loss in women receiving chemotherapy for early-stage breast cancer. Researchers will test both a traditional cooling cap and a newer cooling mask to see which works better at preserving hair. They'll also measure how these methods affect patients' quality of life, self-image, and treatment costs.
