First seen Apr 26, 2026 · Last updated May 10, 2026 · Updated 2 times
Summary
This study looks at the genes of 100 people who have had spontaneous coronary artery dissection (SCAD), a rare heart condition where a tear in a blood vessel can cause a heart attack. Researchers want to find genetic changes that might increase the risk of SCAD. Participants provide DNA samples, and the study compares them to people without SCAD to better understand what causes the condition.
