New injection aims to strengthen bones in boys with muscular dystrophy
NCT ID NCT06450639
Summary
This study is testing whether a medication called satralizumab, given as a shot every four weeks, can improve bone strength and muscle function in children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy. The trial includes 50 boys aged 8 to 18 who are already taking daily steroid medication. Researchers will measure changes in bone density and track new fractures over two years to see if the treatment helps.
