Muscle loss in elderly linked to fear of movement and pain sensitivity?
NCT ID NCT07269600
Summary
This study aims to understand how age-related muscle loss (sarcopenia) affects neck awareness, fear of movement, and pain sensitivity in nursing home residents. Researchers will compare 31 elderly participants with and without muscle loss through surveys and physical measurements. The goal is to gather knowledge to help develop better care approaches, not to test a treatment.
