Muscle loss linked to immunotherapy response in lung cancer

NCT ID NCT07192926

First seen Jun 27, 2026 · Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looked at 115 adults with advanced non-small cell lung cancer to see if muscle loss (sarcopenia) and a blood-based score called CTI affect how well immunotherapy works. Researchers reviewed medical records to measure muscle on CT scans and calculate CTI from routine blood tests. The goal is to find simple markers that could help doctors predict which patients will benefit most from treatment.
