First seen Nov 01, 2025 · Last updated May 06, 2026 · Updated 25 times

Summary

This study looks at whether having fewer follow-up scans after surgery for soft tissue sarcoma can help lower patients' anxiety and fear of the cancer coming back. About 227 adults who have finished their sarcoma treatment will be placed into either a limited or intense surveillance group and will complete surveys over two years. The goal is to find out if less frequent monitoring improves quality of life without missing a recurrence.
