Massive study hunts for clues to tame mysterious inflammatory disease
NCT ID NCT06576505
Summary
This study aims to understand why sarcoidosis, an inflammatory disease with no cure, affects people so differently. Researchers will collect samples from 5,000 people with or suspected of having sarcoidosis, plus some healthy volunteers, to study their genes, immune cells, and gut bacteria. The goal is to find patterns that can predict how the disease will progress and who will respond to which treatments, hoping to pave the way for more personalized care.
