New COVID shot shows promise in early safety tests
NCT ID NCT04537208
Summary
This study tested a new COVID-19 vaccine made from a lab-created protein, with and without an immune-boosting ingredient (adjuvant). It involved 441 healthy adults to see if the vaccine was safe and if it triggered a strong and lasting immune response against the virus. Researchers tracked antibody levels and monitored for any side effects for about a year after vaccination.
