New attack on tough prostate cancer recurrence

NCT ID NCT03553602

Summary

This study tested a combination treatment for prostate cancer that has come back in the prostate and nearby lymph nodes after a person's initial radiation therapy. It combined two types of radiation therapy with six months of hormone-blocking drugs. The main goals were to see if this approach was safe and if it could effectively control the returning cancer.
