Summary
This study is testing whether a simple, guided salivary gland massage can help older adults who suffer from dry mouth. Researchers are comparing the massage to standard oral health education in 108 seniors living in their communities. The goal is to see if this easy, self-administered technique can increase saliva flow, make chewing and swallowing easier, and improve overall oral health.
