First seen Jun 27, 2026 ยท Last updated Jun 27, 2026

Summary

This study looks at whether saliva can be used to track bone changes in people getting braces. Researchers will measure genes related to bone metabolism in saliva samples from 24 patients aged 15-25 with moderate crowding. The goal is to find a non-invasive way to monitor how teeth move during treatment, avoiding the need for blood tests or tissue samples.
