Sticky patch tested to zap painful warts
NCT ID NCT06958237
Summary
This study tested a medicated patch containing salicylic acid to treat common and plantar warts. It involved 30 people aged 6 and older to see if the patch safely reduced wart size and number. The patch works by covering the wart and using the acid to gently peel away the thickened skin caused by the virus.
