First seen Jan 06, 2026 · Last updated May 14, 2026 · Updated 19 times

Summary

This study looked at whether giving salbutamol (a drug that opens airways) through a mist treatment helps people with a severe COPD flare-up who are already using a noninvasive breathing machine. 43 adults took part, and researchers measured their lung function and breathing effort. The goal was to see if the drug could ease symptoms during this critical time.
