Summary
This study tested an experimental drug called SAGE-547 for people with super-refractory status epilepticus, a life-threatening condition where seizures do not stop despite multiple medications. The goal was to see if adding SAGE-547 to standard care was safe and could help control the seizures. Researchers gave the drug by IV infusion over several days to 25 participants while carefully monitoring their health.
