Summary
This study tests newer antimalarial drugs against the current standard treatment for uncomplicated malaria in early pregnancy. About 1,510 pregnant women in Africa will take part, with close monitoring during pregnancy and after birth. The results could improve global health policies for treating malaria in early pregnancy.
