New kidney treatment safety test underway

Summary
This study is testing the safety of a new solution and software used during continuous kidney dialysis for critically ill patients. The solution helps clean the blood and prevent clotting in the dialysis machine. Researchers will monitor 40 adult patients for up to 10 days to check for side effects related to calcium and citrate levels.
