Summary
This early-stage study tests whether adding the anti-inflammatory drug dexamethasone to a standard low-intensity treatment (venetoclax plus another chemo drug) is safe and tolerable for adults with newly diagnosed acute myeloid leukemia (AML) who cannot have intensive chemotherapy. About 20 participants will receive the combination over six cycles, with close monitoring for side effects and quality of life. The goal is to find a gentler but effective option for controlling the disease.
